Bartholomew Bear Spider has no plans to stand against the wall all night – not when there are Halloween parties to attend, and certainly not in a costume this fabulous.

With eight extra legs (plus two of his own), Bartholomew soon discovered a new world of dance possibilities. His current favourite? The “Spider-Strut”. In fact, he was so excited to show off his moves, he even forgot he was a bit afraid of the dark... for a while!

Looking for Leola Bear? You’ll likely find her in her South London studio – surrounded by painting, sculptures and fashion designs. When she’s not there, she’s of travelling; looking for inspiration – and the perfect shade of plum.

A talented, distracted artist (with a habit of reheating the same mug of tea three times), Leola always gets lost in the process. She can’t help it – when inspiration strikes, the hours just melt away… Fortunately, her cousin Bartholomew Bear is always on-hand with a tea top-up and (slightly squashed) plate of biscuits. He knows the drill!

He also happens to be her favourite muse. She’s made every one of his costumes, from the ruby fluff of his Heartthrob stage outfit to the Bat Bear cape that he wore for a Halloween party. Even his bold Sun costume was a Leola original, designed to give him confidence for an upcoming carnival debut.

One day her talent will be recognised. For now though, Leola’s happy making magical things for her friends and family.

Plum Robin may be built for flight, but when winter comes, she’s strictly ground level. Wings outstretched, tail fluffed, and beak to the sky – she’s happiest making perfect snow angels.

Plum has got opinions on snowfall texture, optimal wing-to-body ratios, and the importance of a proper swish. She’s not one for migration – what if she missed a flurry?! Instead, she stays close to home, humming carols to herself and leaving feathery outlines wherever she goes.

Please remember that her snow angels are to be admired, not stepped on!

Amuseables Letter to Santa is a true believer in Christmas miracles. She’s on a quest for them, in fact!

Viewing the Northern Lights is her thing. By nightfall, she’ll have trekked to the perfect spot, camera (and flask of cocoa) at the ready. She's seen them hundreds of times, but each occurrence is magical. She messages Loveables Jolly Santa with a new pic every single time.

Romi Reindeer runs the northern skies. From her high-tech control tower, she monitors everything from sleigh departures to migrating festive flocks. Nothing gets past her radar – not even Chip Seagull's low-flying snack runs!
