Bartholomew Bear has discovered snowboarding. Sort of. He’s mostly discovered the outfits.

Now fully insulated in his fluff-trimmed snowsuit (complete with pretend zip and imaginary lift pass), he’s taken to the slopes in signature style: slow, steady, and with regular dance breaks.

He talks a big game – “black runs only” – but his snowboard is mostly for posing, and his goggles have never seen a flake. Still, he looks the part. And for Bartholomew, that’s half the fun. (The other half is fondue.)

Bashful Bunny ‘Snow Suit’ has a winter obsession – and it’s not hot chocolate (though she won’t say no). It’s snowmen. Meticulously sculpted and lovingly maintained, she’s even built one entirely from marshmallows!

Her creations aren’t just snowmen, though. They’re friends. Some with hats, some with earmuffs, and all built with care – though she does have to avoid the odd snowball from Amuseables Peanut (he just can’t help himself).

She’s already saved you a scarf and some buttons. Shall we build one together?

Looking for Leola Bear? You’ll likely find her in her South London studio – surrounded by painting, sculptures and fashion designs. When she’s not there, she’s of travelling; looking for inspiration – and the perfect shade of plum.

A talented, distracted artist (with a habit of reheating the same mug of tea three times), Leola always gets lost in the process. She can’t help it – when inspiration strikes, the hours just melt away… Fortunately, her cousin Bartholomew Bear is always on-hand with a tea top-up and (slightly squashed) plate of biscuits. He knows the drill!

He also happens to be her favourite muse. She’s made every one of his costumes, from the ruby fluff of his Heartthrob stage outfit to the Bat Bear cape that he wore for a Halloween party. Even his bold Sun costume was a Leola original, designed to give him confidence for an upcoming carnival debut.

One day her talent will be recognised. For now though, Leola’s happy making magical things for her friends and family.

Horticus Hare runs the local allotment with unshakeable enthusiasm – even on rainy days! He believes good compost can solve almost anything, and his pep talks to the seeds are legendary.  

His passion for growing is infectious – neighbours have been known to start herb gardens just from hearing him talk about his trowel and shears. 

By dusk, Horticus surveys his tidy rows with pride, sipping nettle tea and planning next week’s rota. (He’s in every day, of course!) 

Calm, un-rushable Cream Bunny with Rose takes the time to notice the beauty all around her. 

She pauses to admire the stack of freshly folded napkins at the tea shop, to appreciate the scent of autumn drifting through the park, or to remark on how beautifully Silver Bunny’s ears catch the morning light. Every detail feels like a poem to her.

With a bloom in hand, it’s easy to help others stop and smell the roses. And this one? This one’s for you!

Heart Dragon is a culinary romantic, specialising in candlelit dinners for two (or occasionally three, if Amuseables Red Heart insists on helping with presentation).

Her menus are legendary: rose-petal risotto, molten chocolate fondue, and her pièce de résistance: fire-kissed crème brûlée, courtesy of her own gentle flame. (It’s the secret to the perfect crackly top.)

And if the candle ever goes out, she’s your dragon!

Romi Reindeer runs the northern skies. From her high-tech control tower, she monitors everything from sleigh departures to migrating festive flocks. Nothing gets past her radar – not even Chip Seagull's low-flying snack runs!

She’s not one for fuss, glitter, or last-minute sleigh diversions (Jolly Santa has been firmly briefed). But don’t mistake her for cold – she just likes a smooth flight path and a plan that sticks.

You don’t need to worry about festive flight delays when Romi’s on the job.

When it comes to festive hosting, no one does it better than Pippa Labrador. Once the hat’s on (fleece-trimmed) and her red bow’s tied, she’s in her element, carving, plating, and offering second helpings before you’ve finished your first.

This year, she’s on a mission: get Ricky Rain Frog into the Christmas spirit. He’s already wearing his Santa Costume – voluntarily! – and was recently overheard humming a carol. (Timmy Turtle is beside himself.)

She’s saved you a seat – and the best roast potato.

Not a natural skier, Amuseables Snow Globe prefers to people-watch on the peaks while sipping an eggnog (shaken, not stirred).

He’s witnessed it all. Newbie snowboarders fumbling onto (or off) a ski lift. A group of skiers doing the conga. Amuseables Peanut ‘Après Ski’, flying down the black run on an ironing board (in its upright position).

Several friends have offered him skiing lessons: wouldn't he rather be enjoying the slopes with everyone else? Not at all. He’d rather create his own weather.

Amuseables Letter to Santa is a true believer in Christmas miracles. She’s on a quest for them, in fact!

Viewing the Northern Lights is her thing. By nightfall, she’ll have trekked to the perfect spot, camera (and flask of cocoa) at the ready. She's seen them hundreds of times, but each occurrence is magical. She messages Loveables Jolly Santa with a new pic every single time.

So whether you’re sending him a gift list or thank you note, any message to Santa gets this polar explorer's stamp of approval.

Despite her mythical status, White Unicorn is, by all accounts, a realist. She may have a silky shimmer and a twinkling horn, but her day job? Spreadsheet specialist at her local London council.

She’s practical, punctual, and prone to sighing at glitter-related emergencies (it’s in the keyboard – AGAIN!). Her best friend, Bashful Silver Bunny, is forever trying to coax her out for a little stargazing. But unless the stars are neatly categorised by brightness and quadrant, Bashful Unicorn prefers her tea and a tidy rota.

Of course, she still grants the occasional wish – provided it’s booked in advance!

Amuseables Toastie Pink and White Marshmallows are inseparable – especially when it’s chilly. Their idea of adventure? A blanket, a good book, and a mug of something hot.

They’re connoisseurs of cocoa, with varying opinions on swirl technique and a firm stance on cinnamon (pro, if sprinkled). Pink likes her chocolate dark and dramatic. White prefers it sweet, with extra cream and drunk through a straw (don’t ask).

Together, they’re the ultimate winter warmers – cosy, comforting, and always up for a heartwarming chat.
